Finance Specialist

IQVIA is seeking a passionate Finance Specialist to join our client’s team. Responsibilities include day-to-day accounting tasks, ensuring compliance with accounting principles, and providing support to the Country Manager. The role offers growth opportunities and may require occasional travel to Dubai or Australia, as well as after-hours work to align with different time zones.

Key Responsibilities:

Accounts Payable:

- Ensure timely PO raising and GRs.

- Validate claims and documents, submit claims, and follow up on settlements.

- Reconcile GRIR and accounts payable.

Account Receivables:

- Follow up on distributor payments.

- Reconcile client and vendor statements and fix discrepancies.

- Handle C.N. requests and settlements.

- Reconcile receivables with distributors.

Financial Analysis:

- Maintain monthly/year-end accruals.

- Track spending requests vs. Budget/Fcst.

- Assist the local team with reports and analysis.

Bookkeeping:

- Track and record financial transactions, circulate approvals, and maintain records.

Cross Functions and Finance Support:

- Assist in end-of-month accruals, year-end closing, annual budget preparation, tax returns, and financial audits.

- Ensure compliance with company policies and guidelines.

Qualifications and Skills:

- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance.

- At least three years of relevant work experience.

- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Excel.

- Excellent knowledge of accounting regulations and procedures, including GAAP.

- Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.

- Knowledge of SAP is a plus.

- Strong communication skills.
