IQVIA is recruiting highly motivated Hospital Account Manager to work in the field of gynecology and women’s health.  In this role, you will work with gynecologists and midwifes focusing on enhancing the women’s health portfolio of our client by developing solutions that meet the needs of women throughout life and initially on pregnancy. Professional knowledge of the Dutch language is mandatory.

The role

The Hospital Account Manager is responsible to increase the awareness of the product portfolio in a specified geographical territory, consistent with the company strategy and objectives. This is generally achieved by educating, connecting, and informing physicians on the features and benefits the customer’s product(s) within the therapeutic area. The Hospital Account Manager is the main person to execute on identified opportunities developed through strategic targeting. 

The main responsibilities include:

  • Identifying, segmenting & mapping key accounts and stakeholders
  • Developing & implementing key account & opportunity plans
  • Identify business opportunities and collaborate with management to accelerate and execute on these opportunities
  • Engage with and manage key decision makers. Customer engagement can be face-toface, phone or virtual
  • Develop and drive appropriate portfolio management strategy in collaboration with the management
  • Provide regular input for internal management reviews
  • Work in collaboration with the management to develop account-specific value propositions and execute global and locally set initiatives/ strategies
  • Work in close collaboration with the management to lead specific projects and initiatives at the national/regional level
  • Act as a strong team player and contributor to share best practices, market insights, and reinforce engagement expertise within the team.

Your experience:

  • Minimum (5) years successful field sales experience (in gynecology) in the pharmaceutical/health care industry; prior key account management experience a strong plus 
  • Thorough understanding of national / local health care systems
  • Have a track record in organizing successful medical education sessions

  • Creating and leveraging networks
  • Strong team player with high standards of integrity
  • Able to flourish in a rapidly changing & demanding business environment
  • Strategic, clear thinker with strong commercial acumen and robust logic / analytical capabilities
  • Result-focused, able to set priorities and manage projects / initiatives in a timely fashion
  • Strong communicator, charismatic, enthusiastic with positive thinking and a “can do” attitude
  • Good knowledge of digital communication tools
  • Valid driving license

The role is field based and requires travel (also to Belgium)
