IQVIA is currently looking for a SALES MANAGER who can join an exciting team working for CSMS business in a dynamic and international environment.
The Sales Manager oversees, supervises and manages the operational aspects of ongoing projects and programs ensuring quality deliverables on time and within budget.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Manage staff in accordance with organization’s policies and applicable regulations. Responsibilities include planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance and guiding professional development; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing employee relations issues and resolving problems.
Maximize profitability by ensuring brand objectives and customer requirements / needs are achieved.
Expected to contribute to strategic decision making and continually seek opportunities to improve or develop the business.
Participate in proposal development and presentations.
Act as a coach and mentor for Field Managers and ensure cross functional coordination with other profiles as appropriate.
Ensure delivery of high quality calls and field visits.
Create Account / Customer plans – monitor, review, report on and amend plans as appropriate.
Participate in the selection process for new staff by conducting candidate review and participating in the interviewing process.
Provide regular feedback on project progress against business plan both to IQVIA and customer’s senior management.
Ensure accuracy in reporting and respect of deadline agreed with the customer.
Attend customer meetings and provide regular feedback on the performance of the project.
Organize commercial meetings and facilitate cross functional dialogue with the other teams.
REQUIRED SKILLS:
Solid project management skills.
Advanced management skills & ability to drive business.
Interpersonal, organizational and leadership skills.
Ability to manage complexity & conflicting priorities.
Ability to work in a matrix organization.
Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with co-workers, managers and clients.
Good understanding and knowledge of local Pharma Industry, Health Service and related procedures.
Solid understanding of financial tools and processes required to run project.
Fluency in software operating systems, such as MS Office (in particular Power Point) and customer relationship management systems.
Proficiency in English.
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:
Minimum of 5 years’ experience in managing team of Reps as a Field Manager in pharmaceutical companies.
Experience in Marketing role (office based)
Further experience as National Sales Manager will be considered as a plus.
Experience with GPs and with Specialists (in different therapeutic areas).
EDUCATIONAL BACKGROUND
Scientific or Economic Degree will be considered as a plus.
