Project Manager (Home-Based)
Full-Time, Permanent role
IQVIA is looking for an excellent Project Manager whose mission is the successful delivery of key project wins across a number of Medical Communications Service Lines within the MPC Team working with a range of Clients, Stakeholders, Internal Resources and Contributing Agencies and Vendors
As a Project Manager, your role is to plan, execute and measure project activities and programmes that meet Client objectives as directed by the Account Teams, ensuring quality deliverables on time and within budget. Ensuring that all project work is completed in accordance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), policies and practices. To maintain and support the growth of existing business as assigned by providing operational support and by collaborating with internal departments and external vendors involved in project delivery.
Essential Functions
As a Project Manager, your role will be to :
• Work with senior Client services team members and other internal teams contributing to the development and delivery of high quality programmes that meet the needs of Customers and Clients
• Project manage teams to deliver on all aspects of project activities including briefing, planning, scheduling, budgets, financial reviews and resourcing, ensuring the delivery of projects to agreed specification and quality
• Assess the scope of all assigned project activities / programmes and assist in identifying the range and depth of project management support necessary for achieving objectives
• Ensure the completion of set up and maintenance of all project documentation files and records taking responsibility for internal databases, tracking systems, and project plans with project specific information
• Responsible and accountable for all financial activities relating to project delivery such as developing budgets, supporting SOW development, raising invoices, monitoring on project spend, analysing timesheets and the ongoing forecasting of revenue for back to business reporting
• Along with the Account Teams, act as day to day client contact, as appropriate in collaboration with other Project Managers as necessary. Lead, contribute towards and attend project team meetings, including client teleconferences or face to face meetings as required. Tracking actions from meetings as appropriate and providing timely and regular updates to Account Teams on progress and actions as necessary
• Contribute to the growth of existing accounts by supporting senior Account Team members through the successful delivery of won business and by supporting key Client and Stakeholder relationships. To propose appropriate ideas and solutions around initiatives to support the growth of activities as appropriate with regard to new business opportunities
• Prepare presentation materials for meetings as required such as agendas and slide decks to support the successful project management of all activities.
Qualifications
As a Projection Manager you will need to have/be:
• Bachelor's Degree
• 3 years project management experience within the pharmaceutical industry or agency environment or equivalent combination of education, training and experience
• Good knowledge of all aspects of project management services and ability to manage multiple projects
• Experience working in a highly matrixed organisation and leading and participating in teams
• Demonstrated ability to work creatively in a fast-paced environment. Ability to maintain demanding timelines. Adaptability and flexibility to changing priorities
• Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with co-workers, managers and clients
• Exceptional attention to detail and ability to work simultaneously on multiple priorities
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Good finance skills and problem solving skills with the ability to develop and articulate recommendations
• Strong analytical skills and ability to translate analysis to executable programs within defined goals
• Good organizational, planning, and logistics skills
• Sound judgement and decision making skills
• Demonstrated ability to deliver results to the appropriate quality and timeline metrics
• Strong software and computer skills, including MS Office applications.
• Good knowledge of pharmaceutical compliance
