Oral Care Consultant

Part Time: 4.5 hours per day, so typically 10-2.30

School Term Time: 39 weeks per year

Location: East London - North London - Ilford

Job Purpose:

  • Oral Care Consultants are field based specialists who work in close partnership with UK dental professionals (DPs). This role involves detailing, educating, selling and merchandising products to either existing or new customers in the dental sector. 
  • A diverse team of Oral Care Consultants operate across clearly defined territories UK wide.
  • Oral Care Consultants are field-based and are crucial in driving demand via professional recommendation for our brands and growing sales for our professional products range.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Visit dentists, hygienists, and therapists within dental practices, area health authorities, hospitals and dental hospitals located within your territory.
  • The aim of these visits is to establish contact, build rapport, sell specialist Professional products, drive recommendation and endorsement for our consumer brands
  • You will educate the dental professional and their teams in specific oral care areas, as well as the benefits of our products
  • Work closely with your regional supervisor to develop your skills and capability through coaching and an individual development plan including keeping up to date on mandatory training.
  • Responsible for maintaining and collating customer records within our CRM system
  • Complete a business plan and weekly visits plans
  • Provide technical/scientific and product information through arranging, administering and presenting at trade exhibitions, educational group meetings to dentists and on a one-to-one basis
  • Provide on-going feedback and market intelligence to Professional Marketing and Sales team
  • Deliver upon KPIs, which involve contacting dental professionals and their teams face to face and/or by phone
