IQVIA’s international talent acquisition team is excited to announce an opening for an Oncology Sales Specialist to cover Eastern Austria. This role is part of a dynamic European team spanning multiple countries.

Our client, a leading biotechnology company, is renowned for inventing, developing, and commercializing life-transforming medicines for people with serious diseases. Their focus areas include rare diseases, infectious diseases, hematological conditions, and various cancers.

Role Responsibilities:

• Drive sales of an EMA-approved PD-1 immune checkpoint inhibitor, currently indicated for cutaneous squamous cell carcinoma (CSCC), basal cell carcinoma (BCC), and non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC).
• Collaborate with commercial and medical colleagues.
• Engage with new indications undergoing clinical development and other exciting assets in the pipeline.

Candidate Requirements:

• Highly motivated, experienced pharma industry Sales Specialist with a proven track record of success in Austria including key hospital accounts in the Vienna area (experience with product launches is a plus).
• Prior experience in a highly technical therapeutic area is preferred.
• Outstanding communication and engagement skills.
• Strong scientific background with at least a degree-level education.
• Eligibility to work full-time in Austria (no sponsorship available).
• Fluency in German and strong English language skills.
• Willingness to travel throughout the territory as required.
• Full driving license.
