Medical Science Liaison

Dit geeft de MSL een cruciale verantwoordelijkheid om een wetenschappelijke brug te vormen tussen interne en externe stakeholders. Je krijgt de kans om te werken met bestaande middelen en hebt daarnaast een verantwoordelijkheid voor enkele veelbelovende pipeline producten.

De functie:

Als MSL maak je deel uit van een multidicisplinair team en heb je een belangrijke rol in het opbouwen van langdurige relaties met vooraanstaande artsen, belangrijke medische genootschappen en academische centra. Door het leveren van een wetenschappelijke bijdrage aan de realisatie van nationale, regionale en lokale educatieve programma’s verhoog je de betrokkenheid van deze doelgroep bij deze programma’s. Je bent continu op de hoogte van de laatste wetenschappelijke ontwikkelingen en verspreidt wetenschappelijke, onderwijs- en onderzoek gerelateerde informatie naar onderzoekers en opinieleiders en communiceert deze informatie op efficiente wijze naar onze interne afdelingen. Hiervoor zoek je contact met medische verenigingen en advisory boards en bezoek je medische congressen en conferenties. Jouw bevindingen houd je nauwkeurig bij en vormen de basis voor strategische discussies met de Medical Advisor en het brand team. Daarnaast faciliteer je onderzoekers bij het opzetten van Investigator Initiated Research en ben je betrokken bij het opzetten en uitvoeren van  observationele studies. In deze functie rapporteer je aan de the Head Medical Affairs General Medicine.

Het profiel:

  • Een afgeronde Master’s of PhD (heeft de voorkeur) in de biomedische wetenschappen; natuurwetenschappen, farmacologie of geneeskunde;
  • Minimaal 2 jaar wetenschappelijke ervaring binnen een specifiek therapeutisch aandachtsgebied
  • Sterk in het zoeken van verbinding tussen mensen;
  • Goede stakeholder management vaardigheden;
  • Communicatief sterk: overtuigend en uitstekende presentatievaardigheden;
  • Klantgericht, initiatiefrijk en in staat vertrouwen te wekken;
  • Gericht op samenwerken en in staat om te gaan met complexiteit;
  • Ondernemend en in staat om bevindingen uit het veld om te zetten in creatieve strategische adviezen voor de interne organisatie;
  • Bereid te reizen binnen Nederland en incidenteel buiten Nederland;
  • Goede beheersing van de Nederlandse en Engelse taal, zowel in woord als in geschrift;
  • Rijbewijs -B-.

Medical Science Liaison Cardiology

We are looking for a passionate Medical Science Liaison

The MSL has a critical responsibility to form a scientific bridge between internal and external stakeholders. You will have the opportunity to work with existing products and will be responsible for some promising pipeline products.

The function:

As an MSL, you will be part of a multidisciplinary team and have an important role in building long-term relationships with leading physicians, major medical societies and academic centers.
By making a scientific contribution to the realization of national, regional and local educational programs, you increase the involvement of this target group in these programs.
You are continuously ‘up to date’ with the latest scientific, scientific, education and disseminate research related information to researchers and opinion leaders and you communicate this information efficiently to internal departments.
To realize this, you contact medical associations and advisory councils and visit medical congresses and conferences. Your observations form the basis for strategic discussions with the Medical Advisor and the brand team.
You also facilitate researchers in setting up and conducting observational studies.

Head Medical Affairs General Medicine

The profile:

• A PhD (is preferred) or completed Master's, in biomedical sciences; natural sciences,  
   pharmacology or medicine;

• At least 2 years of scientific experience within a specific therapeutic area

• Strong in seeking connections between people;

• Good stakeholder management skills;

• Strong communication skills: convincing and excellent presentation skills;

• Customer-oriented, enterprising and able to inspire confidence;

• Focused on collaboration and able to deal with complexity;

• Entrepreneurial and able to convert observations from the field into creative strategic advice
   for the internal organization;

• Willing to travel within the Netherlands and occasionally outside the Netherlands;

• Excellent knowledge of the Dutch and English language, both verbally and in writing;

• Driving License B-.
