Location:  South London

IQVIA now has an excellent opportunity for an experienced Pharmaceutical Sales Representative with a strong desire to further their career in pharmaceutical sales.  

As a Medical Sales Representative, your responsibilities will be to: 

  • Work in a strategic long-term partnership to raise product awareness in your territory  
  • Maximize sales growth in your specified geographical territory by meeting and exceeding personal and team targets 
  • Conduct sales interviews, carry out pre-call planning and preparation and develop a self-analytical approach in order to identify learning areas from each call.
  • Identify customer targets and physician profiling.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with your customers (GPs, Nurses and Pharmacists) to produce immediate sales impact 
  • Successfully manage objections and/or issues raised, escalating more sensitive or complex queries.
  • Maintain an up-to-date sales / technical knowledge of specialty and disease areas and relevant publications as per customer profile
  • Effectively utilize the relevant software (e.g. Electronic Territory Management System, CRM systems) to maintain records updated and to report daily calls
  • Share experiences, ideas and techniques in order to assist with the sales training of colleagues.

  

  

As a Medical Sales Representative, you need to: 

  • Be a passionate individual who has a real hunger to succeed with an aim to increase business and activity across the local healthcare economy 
  • Have the ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with co-workers, managers and clients.
  • Be fluent in software operating systems, such as MS Office and customer relationship management systems.
  • Have effective verbal and written communication skills
  • Have the ability to conduct face to face presentations to customers.
  • Be able to organize and prioritize own workload.
  • Be educated up to Degree level 
  • Be ABPI Qualified
  • Have a UK Driving Licence (6 points max) 
  • Be eligible to work in the UK
