Marketing Manager – Women’s Health
Location: UK-wide (3 days a week in head office, Sloane Square, London)
Job Purpose:
Managing the entire product line life cycle from strategic planning to tactical activities. Responsible for the development and production of promotional materials, congress and events, sales force training. The role will also manage PR activities The position is office based but at least 30% field activity is needed.
Scope of Responsibility:
Marketing activities for the full product portfolio in the UK and Ireland
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Work closely with UK GM and UK Sales Manager to develop UK strategies focused to drive sales and increase market share of our products.
- Develop market strategy for launching or relaunching products in cooperation with Global Marketing and UK GM.
- Work with Global Marketing to develop and adapt global campaigns to meet local needs.
- Prepare and implement pre- launch and launch plans and execute accordingly
- Support strategy to drive formulary inclusion and work with sales team to execute strategy
- Develop Advocacy plan to develop KOL support and programmes to disseminate it through peer to peer communication
- Produce communications plan to ensure key messages are delivered to all target audiences
- Develop market building activities and execute efficiently
- Develop new marketing materials based on market needs.
- Develop annual marketing plan and monitor and control tactical activities such as advertising, promotion, PR and sales support in accordance with the annual marketing plan.
- Close liaison with sales team to assess the response to marketing campaigns continually optimising based on internal and external feedback
- Manage agency relationships to ensure timely delivery of assigned tactics and that they align with strategy.
- Ensure assigned projects are on budget and delivered according to plan.
- Provide production forecasts and liaise with logistics and finance as appropriate
- Build productive business relationships with KOLs and influential customers across the country.
- Appropriate market data analysis to support strategy.
- Ensure development of content for multichannel marketing mix initiating proposals and adapting global initiatives for use in the UK
- Work with UK team to develop strategy and materials for pricing and reimbursement submissions
Experience and Education:
- 1 Year Brand Management experience in the Pharmaceutical Industry
- Proven professional experience of the UK pharmaceutical industry.
- Degree in Life Sciences (Pharmacy, Biology, Chemistry, Medicine, etc.) or business related (e.g. Marketing) preferable
- Proficient spoken and written English
- Field sales experience
