Logistics Associate Project Director 

12 Months FTC

IQVIA is seeking to recruit a Logistics Associate Project Director - for our IQVIA Covid 19 Infection Survey. The role will be responsible for driving the logistics strategy and overseeing the Logistics Operation in line with the project demands and requirements.

You will have a strong Logistics leadership background, ideally from a FMCG/Supply Chain/Inventory environment. In addition, you will have relevant Operational leadership experience, plus, a proven track record of creating and  implementing the right processes and procedures to support high volume and complex projects. Your ability to  formulate and execute the logistics strategy, to include the procurement and delivery of  the right materials to the right place, in a timely manner, is paramount in this role.

Underpinning all of this, will be your passion to  improve the performance of the business and support the field teams to meet their targets and deadlines. You will build successful relationships with key partners, and suppliers, ensuring 100%  compliance. In return, we offer a competitive salary and bonus.

You will be responsible for:

  • Developing successful relationships with partner organisations/suppliers/Vendors.
  • Ensuring the project achieves high standards of performance via measurement of key areas vs. Key Performance Indicators
  • Driving the logistics Strategy; ensuring on-going communication and cross functional working amongst the team
  • Operational effectiveness and  Management of Logistics team

. As a Logistics Associate Director at IQVIA you need to be/have:

  • Experienced Logistics/Operational Lead – with a proven track record of success
  • Strong  line management experience
  • Excellent collaboration &  Operational leadership skills across complex/large scale projects involving multiple departments and organisations
  • Strong financial management to ensure budgetary KPIs are met
  • Flexible, professional approach  
  • Eligibility to work full time in the UK  
  • Flexible attitude and willing to work 37 Hours per week (Monday to Sunday working pattern)
  • Current full driving licence for the UK (no more than 6 pts.)
