Key Account Manager Ophthalmology

On behalf of an important multinational Company, IQVIA is looking for a Key Account Manager Ophthalmology who can join an exciting working environment in a dynamic atmosphere.

Location: Lazio and part of Abruzzo

MAIN TASKS AND RESPONSABILITIES:

• Achieve territory sales, growth, and market share targets for assigned brands

• Be the point of reference for costumers and internal functions with the aim to ensure the best co-create solutions for each accounts/Healthcare Professionals (HCP) in his/her client portfolio
• Act to identify how to impact the patient’s pathway to ensure the best treatment options
• Manage the segmentation of the HCPs to allow the micro segmentation in the therapeutic area, will lead involvement and engagement of the cross functional team in the assigned sales area: Marketing, Medical and Patient Access functions together with all the other team members to achieve planned objectives
• Act to identify and cover customer’s and center’s unmet need
• Identify and leverage the right channels for the right target according to campaign designs and suggestions
• Manage local budget for local events, congresses, donations and consultancy agreements in line with the allocated budget and in agreement with the Area Manager

WHO YOU ARE:

• Master’s Degree, ideally in a natural science related field (Medicine, Pharmacy, Biology, Chemistry) recognized degree suitable for carryng out the activity of Scientific Informant of the Drug or to carry out ISF activities before 11/01/1993
• At least 5 years of experience in Sales functions
• Previous experience in the Ophthalmology business is mandatory
• Excellent communication skills, analytical thinking, high sense of responsibility and result and data oriented
• Ability to work in a cross functional and complex environment
• Customer orientation with a strong ability to manage difficult situations
• Good informatics skills and strong digital mindset
• Good knowledge of English
• Residence or domicile in the province of Roma and maximum availability to travel in the assigned territory

EDUCATION

Life Sciences Graduate or equivalent as provided in the applicable Law
