Description de l’emploi :

Ce poste constitue une occasion unique pour les éducat(rice)eurs cliniques en soins infirmiers diplômé(e)s, à temps partiel, d’utiliser leur expertise clinique en soins infirmiers d’une façon autre que les soins aux patient(e)s, tout en continuant à collaborer avec les professionnels de la santé et à promouvoir le bien-être des patient(e)s par le biais de la technologie des dispositifs médicaux.

Les éducat(rice)eurs cliniques qualifié(e)s ou les infirmières/infirmiers diplômé(e)s seront chargé(e)s de former les infirmières/infirmiers diplômé(e)s à l’utilisation des pompes à perfusion IV.

Vous serez responsable uniquement de la formation; vous n’avez aucune responsabilité en matière de vente et vous ne vous occuperez pas de patient(e)s.

Ce poste nécessite des déplacements nationaux à travers tout le Canada. Il y aura en moyenne 2 missions par mois d’une durée de 3 à 5 jours par mission.

Responsabilités :

-        assurer une formation et une consultation d’égal à égal aux infirmières/infirmiers, aux médecins et à d’autres membres du personnel de santé afin de répondre aux besoins de formation des utilisateurs finaux dans le cadre des soins de santé

-        évaluer les besoins des clients et les aider à résoudre les problèmes découlant d’un manque de connaissance des dispositifs médicaux ou d’une mauvaise compréhension du produit en question

-        contribuer à la mise en place d’une formation en cours d’emploi sur les dispositifs médicaux afin de soutenir les principaux clients

-        effectuer un suivi auprès des comptes et des clients importants pour évaluer les besoins non satisfaits en matière de formation et dans le domaine clinique dans la mise en œuvre réussie des dispositifs médicaux.

Qualifications requises :

-        diplôme en soins infirmiers - Associé requis, baccalauréat préféré

-        permis d’exercice en soins infirmiers en vigueur et sans restriction requis

-        3 à 5 ans d’expérience en soins intensifs, expérience en soins intensifs requise

-        expérience préférée aux urgences, aux soins intensifs et en oncologie

-        expérience de travail avec des appareils de surveillance cardiaque invasifs

-        doit être à l’aise avec les logiciels de base

-        expérience en position d’autorité (infirmière responsable, éducatrice, préceptrice) souhaitée

-        disponibilité pour voyager à l’intérieur du Canada 2 semaines par mois

-        Les tâches peuvent nécessiter le respect des exigences du client et de l’hôpital en matière de vaccination complète de toutes les personnes fournissant des services sur place

Vous aurez des horaires flexibles, la possibilité de voyager, de vous développer et de saisir de nouvelles opportunités tout en gagnant un revenu supplémentaire et en vous familiarisant avec l’industrie des dispositifs médicaux. 

Collaboration avec les services fonctionnels du client :

-        assurer une expertise clinique et professionnelle aux utilisateurs finaux, notamment au personnel infirmier, aux médecins et aux autres professionnels de la santé dans un environnement e nécessitant pas de soins aux patient(e)s

-        assurer aux équipes de l’entreprise un retour d’information sur les clients dans le but d’améliorer les dispositifs médicaux nouveaux et existants

-        servir de ressource éducative sur l’appareil en question

Clinical Nurse Educator

Job Description:

Our Per Diem RN Clinical Educators experience a unique opportunity to employ their clinical nursing expertise in a new way outside patient care, while continuing to collaborate with healthcare professionals and advocate for the well-being of patients through medical device technology.

Qualified Clinical Educators/Registered Nurses will be tasked with educating Registered Nurses on IV Infusion Pumps.

You are responsible for education only; no sales responsibilities, and no patient care.

This role requires national travel across Canada. There will be an average of 2 assignments per month, ranging 3-5 days per assignment.

Responsibilities:

·        Provide peer-to-peer education and consultation to RN, Physician, and other healthcare staff in support of end-user education needs in the healthcare setting

·        Assess customer needs and assist with resolving issues stemming from lack of medical device knowledge or understanding of the particular product

·        Assist in the delivery of medical device-related in-service education to support key customers

·        Follow-up with key accounts and customers to assess unmet education and clinical needs as it relates to successful medical device implementation.

Job Requirements:

·        RN Degree - Associate's required, Bachelor's preferred

·        Active and Unrestricted RN License required

·        3-5 years Critical Care, ICU experience required

·        ER, ICU, Oncology experience preferred

·        Experience working with cardiac invasive monitoring devices

·        Must be comfortable with basic software programs

·        Leadership experience (Charge Nurse, Educator, Preceptor) preferred

·        Availability to travel nationally within Canada 2 weeks per month

·        Duties may require compliance with client and hospital requirements that all those performing services on-site be fully vaccinated

You will have a flexible schedule, an opportunity to travel, grow and expand into new opportunities while earning supplemental income and learning the medical device industry. 

Collaborate with client functional areas:

·        Provide clinical and professional expertise to end users including RN staff, Physicians and other healthcare professionals in a setting without patient care

·        Provide customer feedback to corporate teams to improve new and existing medical devices

·        Serve as an education resource on the particular device
