IQVIA currently has an exciting opportunity for a Hospital Account Manager.

As a Hospital Account Manager your main tasks will be to:

  • Drive advocacy and prescribing in secondary care
  • Deliver improved market access
  • Deliver HCPE across primary and secondary care
     

What will you be doing?

  • Use the current campaign to drive uptake in accounts via:

*Building trust and develop relationships with key secondary care stakeholders using an account management approach

*Developing advocacy within hospital setting to maximize share of current hospital Rx

*Developing advocates from secondary care that will present to primary care at our client's supported respiratory meetings to maximize share of current primary care

  • Mobilise advocates to drive improved market access across primary and secondary care via favourable positioning in formulary and guidelines within prescriber led accounts
  • Drive wider market access of the product via favourable positioning on formularies and guidelines across primary and secondary care in prescriber led account

How will you achieve it?

  • Develop industry-leading hospital account plans to execute the national strategy for Respiratory to:
  • Achieve an effective coverage and frequency of activity on target secondary care customers and, where required, payers, to drive both access and uptake in line with account priorities
  • Coordinate effective deployment of specialist roles (e.g. MSL) to deliver the account plan
  • Develop and maintain a high level of product and disease area knowledge to influence product advocacy (clinical and payer) that leads to access and uptake of our medicines

How will your performance be measured?
Outputs:

  • Agreed market share growth in HPA data and RxA
  • Achievement of agreed market access goals for GSK respiratory medicines within key accounts
  • Delivery of high quality HCPE events with above targets from both speakers and attendees
  • Adherence to minimum standards, our client's & ABPI code

Inputs:

  • GSO and appropriate COCO
  • MCCP
  • Business Planning
  • Strong ethical behaviour

Qualifications needed:  

  • Proven successful experience in training and development within the pharmaceutical industry, especially across secondary care 
  • High level of sales coaching & selling skills 
  • High level of organisational & problem solving skills 
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, ability to develop productive partnerships 
  • Highly motivated with drive & determination to succeed & willingness to adapt to change 
  • In-depth knowledge of the NHS & ABPI code of practice 
  • Good intellectual ability both numerically and verbally 
  • Proven ability to work independently and demonstrate pro-activity 
  • Proven payer experience
