Health Behaviour Change Specialist
The experienced Health Psychology / Health behaviour change specialist will support on the delivery of an exciting portfolio of commercial patient and HCP behaviour change projects. This role within our team will be responsible for supporting the design and delivery of a range of Medical Communications and Patient Support programmes to promote the effective management of health and chronic illness. In addition, the role would support the delivery of applicable internal projects, such as White Papers and conference submissions. The successful applicant will ensure that all project work is completed in accordance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), policies and practices. This role would also be required to deputise for the Insights and Programme Design Lead as needed to meet operational commitments, cognizent of experience and skills required to do so.
Supporting the development of tailored adherence and health self-management solutions with an emphasis on:
o Reviewing existing literature and evidence
o Designing of evidence-based solutions and interventions, including specifications for delivery and evaluation
o Championing the integration of evidence-based methods throughout programme design and delivery to enable intervention fidelity, including in materials, specification documentation, patient interactions, etc.
o Creation of behavioural programme content in conjunction with medical writers, studio and editorial services
o Conducting programme analysis to evaluate intervention success / opportunities to evolve
o Developing solid working relationships with client team members through:
o Preparing and explaining our behavioural approach, rationale and credentials
o Supporting programme implementation with clients, including brand, regulatory and medical teams
o Developing solid working relationships with internal IQVIA multi-disciplinary project teams through following defined processes and procedures, working collaboratively and being flexible to the needs of the team / project as appropriate
o Ensuring all aspects of a project adhere to ethical standards (e.g. research, data capture, programme content)
Supporting the continued growth of the Medical and Patient communications team through involvement in business development, including:
o Proposal and pitch development support (Global and Regional)
o Being cognizant of opportunities for organic growth
o Maintain general knowledge of all medical communication and patient support services for appropriate cross-sell opportunities
o Collaboratively work with executive members of global management team to deliver the company’s strategic plan, taking responsibility for specific assignments and company initiatives, e.g. task forces or training
Contributing to the ongoing development of subject matter expertise within the Medical and Patient Communications team and demonstrating thought leadership externally including:
o Contribution to internal research products related to product and strategy development
o Contribution to white papers / conference submissions / publications
o Continued professional development relevant to role and area of work
