Our client is currently recruiting a dedicated and innovative Head of Marketing with a proven track record of successful people-leadership. 

 

What is the Role? 

As a Head of Marketing, you will lead a data-driven, technology-supported agile marketing organization. You will confidently lead the Marketing Team to set and deliver the Business Unit's long-term strategic and operational objectives.  

 

The Head of Marketing will innovatively and effectively develop a ‘Digital Marketing Strategy and Campaign for a Blockbuster Product’ by working collaboratively with the Business Manager and Leadership Team. 

 

You will expertly support the Business Manager in the strategic planning process to define a longer-term strategic roadmap, forecasting and phasing budget and sales targets, and employ the AGILE principles to develop engagement strategy and tactics. 

 

Some of the key tasks... 

Partner with stakeholders and customers across the organization to inform product vision, strategy, features, and prioritization - ultimately delivering strategic and operational brand plans to support defined brand objectives  

Develop, own, and execute product roadmap: translate product roadmap features into well-defined product requirements, including features, user stories, and acceptance test criteria; prioritize and maintain the sprint backlog for assigned marketing products, balancing the needs of stakeholders  

Work in an Agile environment, continuously review the business needs, define priorities, outline milestones and deliverables and identify opportunities/risks.  

Effectively manage a multi-million-pound promotional budget.  

Turn data insights into products with actionable outcomes to the ultimate customer.  

 

 

Skills and attributes for success… 

You will need a business-related or life sciences degree, with +5 years' experience, ideally at least three years in a marketing role. You will have strong interpersonal skills and the ability to convey complex topics in concise and compelling presentations. A track record of successful people-leadership is essential.  

 

You will be highly analytical, with the capacity to learn and overcome complexity, using your experience, and desire to empower and involve the minds of your team, whilst working with key cross functional networks.
