Join our team as a Field Service Technician for a short-term project involving the upgrade of medical devices located in operating theatres and recovery rooms within hospitals. The project will start in September 2024 and you will collaborate with a specialist nurse who is responsible for training healthcare professionals on the impact of the equipment upgrade.

Responsibilities:

  • Travel to hospitals and meet with your nurse educator colleague for pre-organized upgrades.
  • Liaise with relevant hospital departments and key personnel.
  • Locate and upgrade the medical equipment.
  • Collaborate with the nursing colleague who will train healthcare professionals.
  • Complete necessary compliance administration procedures.

Qualifications and Experience: You must have one of the following:

  • 1-3 years’ experience as a field technician in a clinical (hospital or similar) environment.
  • CBEC 1 or 2 certification.
  • Military experience in Biomedical Engineering or a related technical field.
  • Degree in Biomedical Engineering or higher.
  • Fluency in German and English is essential.

Additional Skills:

  • Confidence in providing training to healthcare professionals.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Computer literate.
  • Willing to travel to hospital sites as needed (travel time and expenses will be paid)
