Clinical Product Specialist Spinal / Neuro

 

Candidates with experience of the operating theatre setting required for training / proctoring role working with a first in class spinal medical device as part of an ongoing clinical trial in patients with SMA.

 

Territory  - Leeds, Sheffield (UK) + Toulouse, Garces and Marseille (France)

 

In this interesting operating theatre-based position, you will provide support and training to surgeons and their teams in theatre, for a first in class spinally implanted infusion device; as part of an ongoing clinical trial initially, your insights and feedback from HCPs will be instrumental in active product development to improve patient outcomes and end user experience, before segueing to prelaunch / market access stage.

We are therefore seeking candidates who have previously proctored surgeons and trained OR teams, plus the following skills and experience:

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree with a Biotechnical, Biomedical, Scientific Degree or Nursing qualification covering interventional med device (Operating room, Radiology, Cath lab etc.)
  • Relevant experience in clinical support desirable
  • Experience with paediatric patient population desirable, but not essential
  • Knowledge of relevant clinical procedures desirable, such as Baclofen pumps, pain pumps or spinal cord stimulators
  • Experience working in neuro-spine space desirable
  • Full driving license
  • Willing to travel as required
  • Fluency in English is essential.
