  • Lead the preparation of AMNOG dossiers, including the analysis of clinical trial results and methodology, working alongside internal medical teams, IQVIA experts, and external vendors.
  • Engage Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) in dossier strategy development, preparation, and support for hearings, ensuring alignment with our partner clients and their strategic objectives.
  • Identify reimbursement challenges for products in the DACH region and develop strategies, such as NUB and regional market access strategies, leveraging IQVIA’s extensive data and resources.
  • Propose and manage Health Economics and Outcomes Research (HEOR) and Real World Evidence (RWE) projects, in collaboration with IQVIA’s advanced analytics teams, to inform pricing and support value proposition strategies.
  • Build a comprehensive Patient Access Strategy Plan specific to the DACH region, which includes early access opportunities, patient community engagement, and payer engagement, using IQVIA’s vast industry knowledge and market intelligence.
  • Engage with regional payers and stakeholders to secure access, following agreed strategies and plans, and supported by IQVIA’s global payer network.
  • Ensure successful execution of the Patient Access Strategy Plan, adhering to timelines and deliverables, with the operational support of IQVIA and its partner clients.
  • Participate in local pricing and reimbursement meetings, events, and provide feedback to inform future strategies, sharing insights across IQVIA’s broad platform.
  • Contribute knowledge of HTA data and evidence generation requirements to ensure launch assets meet future needs of payers and HTAs, supported by IQVIA’s regulatory and payer expertise.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • University degree in health economics, pharmaceutical science, healthcare management, natural science (e.g., biochemistry, biology), or a related field.
  • 7-10 years of experience in patient/market access or health economics, with significant experience in the biotech or pharmaceutical industry.
  • In-depth knowledge of the healthcare systems and market access environments in the DACH region, specifically within Germany, with a strong focus on AMNOG regulations.
  • Demonstrated experience in rare disease therapy late-stage development and launch preparation, with a successful track record in Germany/DACH commercialisation.
  • Proven ability to work cross-functionally with international teams, including collaboration with IQVIA and client partners, to deliver high-quality results in a fast-paced and evolving environment.

Personal Attributes:

  • Ability to lead and collaborate in a cross-functional, matrix environment, balancing strategic thinking with hands-on execution.
  • High emotional intelligence (EQ) with the ability to build trusted relationships within rare disease communities and manage complexity across diverse stakeholders, including IQVIA’s global network.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with a passion for delivering innovative solutions in areas of high unmet medical need, supported by IQVIA’s resources and tools.
  • Strong project management skills with an analytical approach to problem-solving.
  • Excellent communication skills in both German and English, with experience in conveying complex information to varied audiences.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint, with strong presentation skills.
  • Organised, deadline-driven, and flexible to adapt to changing priorities.
  • Willingness to travel as required.
