Working hours 9am – 5pm, 13-week contract

IQVIA are looking for experienced Research Nurses in Belfast to work on a Phase 3, randomized, placebo-controlled, observer-blind, multi-country study.

Trained by, and working directly with the site’s unblinded CRA, duties and responsibilities will include:

• Conducting protocol-mandated unblinded tasks such as but not limited to randomization of subject, ensures subject and study personnel remain blinded to study intervention, and completes appropriate documentation
• Performing receipt/inventory and accountability of study intervention, preparing and administering study intervention, conducting destruction of empty primary containers and unused investigational product, according to protocol
• Ensuring all data is collected in accordance with regulations and requirements
• Monitoring temperature on site and access to the Internet-based randomization system electronic Temperature Deviation Form
• Access to the Internet-based randomization system enrolment module, and the eCRF for data transcription
• Participation in monitoring visits.

We are looking for candidates with the following skills and experience:

• UK registered nurse with active NMC registration
• Possess clinical research nurse specific qualifications (e.g. ICG GCP)
• Willing to perform the required MyLesson training for the internet randomization system and for the electronic Case Report Form
• Based close to the site location (in case you are required at short notice in exceptional circumstances, such as last-minute reception of IP, vaccination to be re-rescheduled etc.).

The successful applicants will receive full training and onboarding around the protocol (unblinded procedures trained by unblinded CRA), GCP, and all site-specific SOPs, technology, systems, and EDC access.
