Market Access Manager – Team Expansion and Product Launch - Hematology

IQVIA are recruiting for experienced Market Access Managers in Spain, Italy and Germany as part of an EU team expansion, in advance of a highly anticipated monoclonal antibody product launch in the hematology therapy area.

The client in question is a global biopharmaceutical company, dedicated to bringing biosimilar medicines to market, ensuring high-quality biologics are available to more patients at cost effective prices.  Since their launch in 2012 they have developed the industry’s most rapidly advancing biosimilar medicines portfolio and become leaders in this field.

In this exciting role covering Germany, key tasks will include:

• Developing and implementing market access strategies to demonstrate the value of the product portfolio, including pricing and negotiation strategies for reimbursement
• Building trusted and strategic relationships with payers, and influencing stakeholders to anticipate payer’s agendas, plans and objectives, to identify mutually beneficial partnering opportunities
• Securing broad patient access for products by engaging with relevant internal and external stakeholders, including payers, patient organisations and clinics
• Develop stakeholder map and needs assessment for major tenders. Consolidate planning and actions in local market access strategy & implementation plan considering short term and mid-term business goals
• Support the coordination of health economic and clinical input activities across multi-functional teams; support resourcing for HTA submissions, identifying areas where efficiencies can be introduced and acts to implement these

Skills & experience required:

• Master's Degree in Business Administration and/or Health Economics, Life Sciences e.g. Pharmacy, Biomedical / Paramedical, Medical and Public Health
• At least 3-5 years of experience in a sales and market access role
• Experience in pathway redesign
• Effectively build and manage strong relationships with both external and internal customers, with a proven track-record of developing impactful business partnerships
• Be a strong team player with a high level of resilience, leadership qualities, and collaboration skills
• Financial, analytical and problem solving skills with the ability to develop and articulate recommendations and solutions based on this analysis
• Creative, innovative thinker with outstanding presentation and influencing skills
• Previous hematology therapy area knowledge needed (experience with PNH or with complement inhibitors would be of particular interest)
• Experience in the biosimilars arena preferred
• Fluent in local country language and strong English speaker
• Eligibility to work full-time in the country in question
• Full driving license.
