Clinical Educator - North East/Yorskhire
Purpose:
The Clinical Educator role aims to bring clinical expertise to the regionalsalesteam, assisting specialist customers to increase their knowledge and understanding of the assigned brands, their benefits and use these to grow Pharmacosmosproducts through effective implementation and expansion of appropriate use of products. This is a promotional role and discussion of brands and related data will all be within product licence.
The Clinical Educator aims to deliver education and technical product support for services in primary and secondary care in line with regional business plans.
Key Responsibilities
Ensure that company strategy is being supported appropriately via educational activities
Work with regional team and agree upon appropriate HCPs/trusts/departments to offereducational and product support to
Develop and maintain strong links with KOLs and customers to facilitate training sessionsand clinic educational support
Develop and strengthen regional links with relevant customer organisations such asregional nurse networks
Compliantly collate and feedback on nursing activities in CRM system and highlight toregional team any challenges or opportunities presented to delivery of the regional plans
Adhere to financial budgets and control procedures
Acquire and maintain excellent on-licence product knowledge and disease area expertise
Assist in the planning and organisation of appropriate promotional educational meetings
Correctly identify situations where it would be more appropriate for the non-promotionalteam (Medical Team) to work with the customer and facilitate a compliant handover
Develop nurse-led initiatives to enhance customer experience and effective pull throughwithin accounts
Provide training and education in specialist nursing field to appropriate personnel bothwithin and external to the business
This is a promotional role that reports directly to the relevant Pharmacosmos Regional Business Director. It must be made clearto health care prescribers and their staff that this role is part of the promotional team
This includes providing education to health care prescribers and their staff on the proper use ofdesignated treatments for assigned disease area, within the product licence
Working as part of aregional cross functional field-based team promoting the Pharmacosmosbrands in order to achieve specificobjectives in terms of sales & targeted activity
To support customers in the education to ensure that theyare capable of deliveringeffectivetherapies to their patients, in the safest possible manner
Compliance
Ensure adherence to the ABPI code of practice and company operating procedures.
Ensure the patient is at the heart of our business and ensure all adverse event information is
Reported.
