Build valuable working relationships with key healthcare decision-makers
As a Medical Sales Representative, you'll be the critical link between medical and pharmaceutical companies and healthcare professionals. Your role will be to sell products in a defined geographical area by building valuable working relationships with general practitioners (GPs), hospital doctors, pharmacists, practice managers, nurses, dentists and veterinary surgeons.
You’ll use your sales, negotiation and disease/therapy expertise to position and differentiate your products - which may include prescription drugs, pharmacy or OTC brands, wound care, nutrition, diagnostics or vaccines - from the competition.
Whether you're working on behalf of several different companies in a syndicated team, or are dedicated to only one client, you'll make sure to gain an understanding of the customer's unique needs and then focus on selling the appropriate benefits of your products, gaining commitment to change their prescribing habits.
