Territory Account Manager Vascular Protection: towards specialists in Antwerp

The Territory account manager is part of a team of representatives. He/she is visiting the medical target group (Specialists, hospitals, pharmacists, other HealthCare professionals etc.). The aim of these visits is to inform the target group about the product and its merits, all according to the applicable legislation, deontological rules as well as internal company rules.. Product budgets and strategies (eg positioning) are agreed upon with the NFM vascular protection and the BU Head of Sales.

Required knowledge and experience

  • Convincing spirit
  • Personal drive
  • Bachelor degree
  • Scientific background
  • 3 years’ experience in Pharma representation

Purpose of the job

Follow the strategic guidelines set by management to give scientific information to key target groups in a well-defined segment of the sector in order to inform the HCP’s about our products.

Result areas

Customers

Visit a target group  with the right coverage and frequency. Develop  a network of regular contacts with specialists, pharmacists and other HealthCare professionals  and  assure appropriate follow-up in order to enhance visibility and information of the company.

Core activities

  • Daily visits to divers target group
  • Planning and follow-up of activities and customer visits
  • Develop and maintain a regional network of physicians
  • Develop a pool of specialists advocating the use of the product
  • To have an accurate scientific knowledge in order to inform the different specialists
  • Understand and act accordingly to have the product available in the hospitals

Planning

Assure that all field visits and activities in the sector are in line with  product strategies, discussed and agreed with RFM,  sales manager and  marketing ,  medical and legal requirements in order to assure correct product information.

Analyze sector data and activity data for all products in focus and activities in order to optimize territory management.

Core activities

  • Monitor and review the performance against objectives
  • Analyze the results and establish action plans
  • Reach defined objectives
  • Collect and analyze feedback given by the customers
  • Participate to meetings (team meetings, sector meetings, seminars, national meetings, cycle meetings, etc )
  • Optimize the targeting and targeting procedures
  • Optimize territory management, covering and frequency of visits to core target group
  • Organize regularly scientific information events
  • Close interaction/collaboration with the Account Manager Stroke prevention in your region

Communication

Communicate on an ongoing basis with the RFM about the region, implementation and follow-up of product strategies and field feedback in order to improve the correct product use.

Core activities

  • Regular co-visits and meetings with the RFM to update plans and objectives
  • Regular meetings with team colleagues
  • Regular interactions/meetings with the Account Manager Stroke prevention in your region

Reporting/Administration

Assure correct reporting of all activities about products, sector activities and proper administration in order to stimulate constructive feedback.

  • Daily electronic reporting
  • Follow guidelines and procedures regarding budget requests
  • All requests on time
  • Analyze monthly reports covering/frequency/activity
  • Follow up of field visit reports, meeting minutes and reports
