IQVIA are delighted to be supporting Regeneron to recruit 4 Regional Account Specialists for the Netherlands

Strategic Planning and Effective Implementation:

  • Responsible for achieving Dermatology sales objectives while delivering on Regeneron’s promise to put patients first. 
  • Demonstrate superior business acumen, effective management of resources and ability to achieve or surpass corporate goals and sales objectives.
  • Think strategically and manages time effectively in order to maximize customer engagement and deliver value and solutions that are tailored to each target.
  • Develop and execute business development plans and achieve activity targets as defined by sales leadership in relation to brand plan and regional performance targets.
  • Detect opportunities for partnerships: take the lead in cooperating with hospital specialists around high standard projects leading to optimal patient care pathways
  • Develop stakeholder maps across the specified therapy area, having a deep understanding of the emerging multi-stakeholder environment, knowledge of evolving therapeutic landscape and care pathways evolution.
  • Engage and inform healthcare professionals regarding diseases and treatment options in the therapeutic areas (particularly Dermatology and Respiratory) to create a better understanding of type 2 inflammatory diseases and their impact on patients.
  • Educate healthcare professionals about new treatment options, the referral process and opportunities to improve multi-disciplinary care in disease areas of relevance.
  • Demonstrate strong scientific knowledge of all type 2 indications combined with knowledge of, and experience in, budgeting processes in Private Clinics (ZBC’s), General Practitioner (“Zorggroepen”) and Hospitals (academic and peripheral).
  • Work closely together with Hospital Account Managers and Medical Science Liasons to create and implement detailed account plans to maximise advocacy and patient access to innovative therapies.

Performance Orientation:

  • Deliver high quality customer interactions and consistently demonstrating ability to drive and support customer in the optimization of clinical practice.
  • Manage several customer engagement channels, to optimize customer engagement in each situation (e.g. Remote Calls, emails).
  • Carry out recording and reporting systems, as per Regeneron operating processes and timelines
  • Full adherence to industry and company procedures.

Job Requirements:

  • Educated to degree or equivalent, preferably in life sciences, Pharmacy,
  • Chemistry, Biology or Business subject
  • Demonstrable account management experience with proven commercial success within the pharmaceutical industry (at least 3 years)
  • Ability to discuss scientific issues of the specified therapy area(s) with top national and international KOL’s
  • Proven ability to spot opportunities and develop into business solutions
  • Excellent networking and influencing skills and high personal credibility
  • Excellent planning and prioritisation skills
  • Strong communication and presentation skills
  • Strong commercial and scientific acumen
  • Open to manage several communication channels e.g. Remote Calls
  • Computer literate with competence in working with data/multiple systems/CRM
  • Qualified in the relevant Pharmaceutical Industry’s Code of Practice
  • Fluent in Dutch with an excellent command of English
  • Frequent travel will be requirement of the role
  • Therapy area knowledge (Dermatology or Respiratory) and / or sales experience in biologics
  • Up to date clinical knowledge of therapy areas
  • Previous experience selling within Secondary Care setting Hospital.
  • Established Key Opinion leader relationships within Dermatology or Respiratory
